Legendaries Boyband In the World

'N Sync, the Jackson 5 and New Kids on the Block are among the world’s most successful legendary boy bands ever that have sold millions of records, won prestigious awards and built a huge fan base.

With five members including Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, the 'N Sync has achieved a lot of success. Their second album “No Strings Attached”, for example, sold over one million copies in one day and 2.42 million copies in one week. Besides, the boy band performed in special events like Academy Awards, the World Series, the Super Bowl and the Olympics.

The New Kids on the Block that consists of Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, and Jonathan Kinght gained success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with 80 million records sold worldwide. They also won two American Music Awards in 1990.

Perhaps, people cannot forget the lyrics “I don't care who you are/where you're from/what you did/as long as you love me” when the Backstreet Boys with five members including Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, A.J. McLean, and Howie Dorough performed “As Long As You Love Me”. The boy band has sold over 130 million records worldwide, which made them the best-selling boy band of all time.

The Jonas Brothers are an American boy band with three brothers Paul Kevin Jonas II (Kevin Jonas), Joseph Adam Jonas (Joe Jonas), and Nicholas Jerry Jonas (Nick Jonas). They began enjoying their popularity from the Disney Channel children's television network. As of May 2009, the boy band has sold over eight million albums worldwide.

Take That is an English five-piece vocal pop group with five handsome men, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. In their first, they made great achievements such as selling about 30 million records, selling out tours, and building a huge fan base. The member Robbie Williams left the band in 1995 but reunited in November 2010 for their Progress album and a 2011 tour.

Westlife, an Irish boy band, consits of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Brian McFadden. Although Westlife made international success, the band had one U.S. hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts: "Swear It Again".
